the Unseen Bean and Leary's "blind-roasted coffee" grew into its own coffee shop in the Siena Square building that's just north of Pearl Street on Broadway.
On a recent weekday, Leary sat at one of the tables in his business' new digs with Midknight, his black Labrador guide dog — and the Unseen Bean's mascot — lying by his side.
Things are going well, Leary said with a smile, but showed his business sense when he added that they could be better.
"We're trying to build the repeat customer," he said.
