Our House Blend is a complex mixture of African beans that delivers a very smooth flavorful coffee that tastes as good as it smells. Our second mix is the Passion Cup blend. This is a supple and full South American and African blend that tastes almost like cream and sugar are already in it. The third is Miz Susan’s blend. This is an extremely full-bodied coffee that is known for its smooth but slightly sweet flavor. A lot of folks like to use this blend for Espresso as well as drip. It is another African and South American blend that is guaranteed to wake up a hibernating bear! This blend will get you out of bed and put a smile on your face on the darkest of mornings. The Delta Gamma Blend is our fourth blend that was developed by 25 Alumni of the Delta Gamma fraternity. They spent an afternoon tasting and blending all of The Unseen Bean Coffees to arrive at this positively delightful blend of south American and African coffee. It is a Bold tasting and smelling coffee with a soft dry after taste. We also provide the Decaf version of this blend. It is a 100% organic mixture of coffee that tastes like it's caffeinated counterpart. Our last blend is our Decaf Blend. This is an all-organic mixture of South American and Indonesian coffee that tastes as good as any caffeinated coffee without the kick. All of our beans are decaffeinated by Swiss water process. The following is the list of whole beans that we currently have available: Brazil: A somewhat dry tasting coffee with lingering flavor. Costa Rican: A mixed, high-altitude Costa Rican coffee that is full-bodied and distinctive to the region. Ethiopian Yirgicheffe: This coffee is good dark or light, and has a somewhat sweet lemon-like flavor. Guatemala Antigua: A medium bodied South American coffee that tastes slightly spicy. Lively! Indonesian Sumatra Organic: This coffee is very distinctive. It has a spicy flavor with a short, dry aftertaste. Kenya AA: A rich African coffee that can taste similar to Sumatra. Kona Fancy: Kona is the premier coffee from Hawaii. Our Kona Fancy is 100 percent pure and has no added beans of any other type. It is custom roasted to order so you get it very fresh. Because of it's high cost we strongly believe that it should get to you as soon as possible after roasting. The Kona Fancy is $32 per pound. Malawi: This is one of my favorite coffees. It is one of the lowest acid coffees, and has a very smooth dark chocolate-like taste. This is wonderful for people who get stomach reactions when drinking too much coffee. New Guinea Sigri: This coffee tastes like it is a complex blend. It has the spice of a South American coffee with the complexity of an African coffee. Panama: Our Panama coffee is a full-bodied coffee with a lingering flavor that tastes very much like the smell of coffee. Organic Peru: This coffee is similar to the Panama, but has a little more spice to it. It is very good dark roasted when made as espresso. Tanzanian Peaberry: This is very similar to the Kenya Coffee, but tends to remind me a little more of the Sumatra. Uganda: We really enjoy this newest of our coffees. It is full of flavor, and feels nice and thick when being swallowed. Zambia: Our Zambia coffee is one of the best stand-alone coffees that we currently have. It is very good light or dark, and works well as dark Italian or espresso. It is very rich and tastes like it smells. We also have three Decaf coffees: Organic Peru, Organic Sumatra and Ethiopian: All of the Decaf are Swiss water processed, and taste so much like their regular counterparts that it is hard for me to tell the difference. Our storefront is at www.theunseenbean.com/magento. Go and take a look at it! We do have other kinds of coffee occasionally so please call for updates.
